History

San Felipe de Neri Church, located in Albuquerque's Old Town Plaza.

A church, San Francisco Xavier, was constructed in 1706, but destroyed by monsoon rains in 1792). The present church completed in 1736 and one of the least altered. San Felipe de Neri, 1793 (construction begun) in Albuquerque, The current church was Built in 1793 and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Albuquerque and the only building in Old Town proven to date to the Spanish colonial period.
