Mission Santa Cruz de San Saba

Founded 1757
by Franciscan Missionaries
East of Menard, Texas

Personal Observations

Texas does a good job posting signs at historical markers, so it was easy to find. The marker is on the north side of a quiet road (Farm to Market, turn east at San Saba street in Menard, Texas). The Predideo is west of town. Both are adjacent to the Saba River.
Artwork pending.

My Mustang, that lives a few miles from California Mission San Fernando, visits a Mission in Central Texas.

Not only does Texas post signs opposite historic markers making them easy to find, but also a sign a mile in advance.
